Xirokambi is a great starting point for great walks via local roads, country roads and old cobbled paths into the mountains, through traditional villages and old olive groves. We provide you with clearly described routes, including photos and information about the area. Walks start and end at the hotel, or in Koumousta (6 km from Xirokambi into the mountains). Koumousta can be reached by car. We can also arrange that you are brought and picked up by taxi.
You can choose between arrangements for 3 or 4 days. You can also opt to take a beautiful walk through the Anakolou gorge and a old cobbled path to a next hotel, while we take care of the transfer of your luggage.

The valley of the Evrotas is a great place for cycling. While moving through the rolling landscape you are treated on fantastic views of the olive groves, and the mountains on both sides of the valleys. There are marked stretches of cycle path, and on the first Sunday of October there is even a cycling match from Sparta to Xirokambi (following the official match from Athens to Sparta on Saturday).

During this workshop you will learn how to handle your camera in a great outdoor setting. It will enable you to decide in which situations to use your automatic camera settings and in which you should use your manual settings in order to take great pictures. The workshop exists of 2 sessions of 3 hours, with a lunch break in between.
